IQOO neo 10 which is going to launch soon from IQOO. This is the first phone with Snapdragon 8S gen4 processor. Its budget beasts with Q1 supercomputing chip in the phone. We see this chip in IQOO flagship phones. The base model of 8GB / 128GB variant is ₹29,999 and 8GB / 256GB is ₹31,999. Mid variant 12GB / 256GB is ₹33,999 and top variant 16GB / 512GB is ₹38,999.
Let us get into the first impression of the phone.
Design and build quality:
The back panel design of the phone which resembles its predecessor IQOO neo 10R. We got the same racetrack design in the back. The camer panel copied from IQOO 13.
The phone is just 8mm thick even with a 7000mAh battery inside the phone. Even weight is just 206grams which is quite less for this huge battery powered phone.
While coming to build durability of the phone which has the IP65 water resistance. The front glass got protected with SCHOTT Xensation UP glass. And the body is built with polycarbonate even the side frame is poly carbonate. Which is the main reason for weighing less weight.
On the right side of the phone, we have power and volume buttons. On the top we have secondary mic, on the bottom we can see speaker grill, USB type-C, sim slot and primary mic. The speakers present in the phone are stereo with their inbuilt super audio which is not as good as Dolby but its better one in the segment.
While coming to the colors, the phone offered in two color options. Inferno red with dual tone color inspired from racetrack and the other one titanium chrome.
Display of IQOO NEO 10:
The IQOO NEO 10 comes with 6.7 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with HDR 10+ support 10BIT panel. Refresh rate of 144Hz with 5500 nits’ peak brightness.
The display is amazing for the colors and viewing. Especially in the games display is killer. The details and color contrasts are amazing in this display.
The normal high brightness is 2000 nits and while coming to peak brightness it is 5500nits bright. Where we can easily use the phone directly in the sun. The display has L1 support where can stream HDR content in Netflix and Amazon prime.
Performance of the IQOO NEO 10:
IQOO designed for the best gaming experience. The processor 8s gen4 is the beast in the segment. And their Q1 chip while gaming it integrates with the main processor and provides the better display and game framing interpolation which reduces the frame drops during the gaming. And boosts the frame rates. The phone can even handle 144fps BGMI. This Q1 chip reduces the effort on the main processor eventually the heat generate will be reduced gradually. This is marked as segments fastest smartphone.
While coming to RAM the phone has LPDDR5X ultra-RAM advanced faster. The storage is UFS 4.1. The phone comes in 8GB, 12GB, 16GB RAM variants at the same time 256GB and 512GB are the storage options of the phone. Ultra RAM boosts the performance of the phone.
While comparing the processor with 8s gen3 the CPU performance is increased by 31% and GPU by 49% and AI performance by 44%.
We have gaming options which have some modes, the monster mode gives you the best gaming experience and we have 4D vibration where the phone gets vibrates as per the game. We have a voice changer, motion control and visual enhancement which enhances the display. There is gyroscope sensitivity we change it as per our requirement.
Software of IQOO NEO 10:
The IQOO NEO 10 has the latest AI features from IQOO which is a live cutout which cuts the people or the selected people from the image and we can use it. And, we have an AI eraser which removes unwanted things from photos. Circle to search has become the most common feature in every phone.
While coming to Gemini this phone has all the latest features of Gemini which is live video. This is the feature where we can use the camera video and ask Gemini about the things which we are showing through camera.
The phone runs of Android 15 out of the box, the phone secured with 3 years of android updates and 4 years of security updates.
As we know IQOO has more preinstalled apps which need to be uninstalled to get the best experience.
Battery of IQOO NEO 10:
The IQOO NEO 10 comes with a huge 7000 mAh battery and with 120Watt charger. The amazing thing the phone charges just in 36minutes a good productivity booster in my opinion. We need not wait till the phone charged. We can also use the phone as a power bank to charge our other smaller devices such as earphones with 10Watt charge.
As the battery is 7000mAh I need not say about it. Even though it continues gaming, the phone sustains a complete day easily. And for normal users it will easily stay two days.
Camera:
The main camera is 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS support and the ultra-wide camera is of 8MP. Front we get a 32MP camera.
The main camera has good performance with good details. There is no telephoto lens for the portrait shots, but the main camera clicks 2x portrait shots which delivers the amazing photos and details.
Ultrawide camera performance in the day light is good but while going to the low light details will be missing and colors are not too good. The camera performance is the same as the neo 10R.
Conclusion:
The IQOO NEO 10 is absolute beast in performance, the people who wanted great multi tasking with huge battery backup can buy the phone. Becuase the phone easily lasts 2 days for normal usage. While for the gamers this will be the dream phone in budget, IQOO is BGMI supported mobile for gaming. The key specs to buy the phone is performance, battery camera. I personally use IQOO the perfromance even after 4 years of purchase is peaks.
